Kum Lanz HDB!!!




I bought a new HDB flat at Sengkang 1 month ago. The flat has been empty for 5 years. The first time I got my house key, I chiong straight down to the flat. I'm so bloody anxious...

At the Sengkang flat, I try to open my main door... but... the lock just won't open! Because I needed to follow the timing to open my door from my geomancy master, I called a locksmith to open the bloody damn door. The locksmith came & start messing around with the lock. 1/2 hour later, the lock was done & my gf paid the blood sucker locksmith $140. Yah...I know I was kena samurai sword by the locksmith. No choice...what to do? I Kum Lanz mah...

The next day, I went to HDB Sengkang branch to submit the defects found in my flat. I told the Customer Officer that the main door locking device is defective & I had replaced it & I wanted a compensation for the lock I paid. She noted it & printed out a copy for me. I went through it &...perfect! Everything was written correctly. She told me that their Technical Officer will call me when the contractor comes to repair all the defects that I reported.

A month passed... still no call from the HDB... I was worried that they never go & repair the defects. So I went to my Sengkang flat to check it out. The cracks on the wall are done...the windows hinge is repaired. Mmmmmm.... strange... how come nobody call me? Then I noticed the main door locking device looks different. Damn! Where is my Yale? My lock become BLIY!!
I was damn angry! Why didn't they inform me that they were here to change the bloody lock? WHY WHY WHY????? Why must they change the lock when the lock is GOOD??? Why they so KUM LANZ????? They didn't even check the lock. I think the Technical Officer never comunicate with the contractor. So the contractor just see that piece of paper & start changing my lock!

I called up the service hotline & ask HDB how come they change my lock? Didn't they read the Description & Other Details? I tried calling the Technical Officer LS ONG but always can't get him. The service hotline lady tell me that they will get him to call me & give me an explanation. But he never call.

The next day, I called the service hotline. Again, they say he will contact me shortly. Knnz...wait again. Later that day, I lodge a complain to HDB. This time round, they do things faster. The LS ONG colleague call me to inform that LS ONG was injured from a robbery(???) & was on MC. This MC excuse also can... My friend CS already used this pattern many many times...
He told me that he will let him know & call me back the very next day. But till now haven't even call yet... WTF?!?!?

I'm going to lodge a complain to HDB again...this time...complain the Technical Officer LS ONG. "Why he never call me back??? "

First of all, welcome to the neighbourhood :)

Just to share my experience 5 years back when I first got my keys. Found that the circuit breaker plastic cover is a bit chipped, which makes it impossible to be snap closed.

Similarly, I made a defect report and I was assigned a technical officer as well. Called him up after hearing nothing from him over a week. His reason is that his workers has ran off.....

.... and to cut the story short.

It is still the same old plastic cover hanging over the wall till today.
