Updates of Meself...

It has been a few months since I last blog...

Update 1:
Well...just an update for my personal life: Left my Field Application Engineer job to join a small company as a Sales Engineer. It has been a month with this new company & the job scope is not bad. Atleast better than my previous job. Desk bound job is always not my cup of tea.

Update 2:
My new flat is almost done, except that the stupid contractor keep on forgetting the stuffs that I wanted him to follow up. Example: Ask him to cement & paint the bloody wall & he nei do. Ask him to order the glass backing for kitchen cabinet...he oso nei do. Knnz... worst of all, ask him to give me the bloody aircon controller he always forget....knnz... I'm gonna slash the last payment by atleast $1000....knnz... waste my phone bill calling him to remind him the things he suppose to do... na bei...waste my time & $$$...
I think my neigbour will hate me...every Saturday & Sunday making a lot of noise...drilling...banging...worst of all, got a bose system & blasting it everytime I'm in SK... no wonder when my neigbour see me...always give me black face.

I'm fucking broke...spent all my $$$ into the SK flat.

My New Home...

Got a problem here is that buying furniture will be a big big headache....

1 Problem Solved...Created Another!

It has been long since the last time I posted something... Well, I just came across this article in the Straits Times "Bus bays may be axed to help cut travel time". Yes, I agree that motorist will not give way to buses as they are big & move very slow which will slow down their time to travel to some place. If LTA wants to do this, we have nothing to say as they are the gahment. But what about the motorist??? Imagine during peak hours where people are rushing to work & there is no bus bay?!?!?! When the bus stop to pick up commuters...won't it cause a traffic jam? LTA should look into this matter seriously! If the bus driver can't get out of the bus bay, blame it on yourself...you got no skill!!! Gahment should impose tougher driving exams rather than taking away the bus bay!!! Nowadays, it seems like people can choose to learn automatic transmission cars & get their license the quick way compare to manual cars! & it seems like it is very easy to get a driving license now compare to last time! On the roads, you can see a lot of female lousy drivers who don't even check their bloody blind spots & switch lanes...most of them nei even turn on their indicator lights!!!! These will cause traffic accident!!!

End of 2006...coming of 2007...cooked my dinner in NY. Having lobsters, kong bao chicken & veggies...plus 2 glasses of fruit punch!

Really difficult to cook the damn lobsters... jumping here jumping there... but once I cooked it...Yummy!!! haha...

GST Increase...Good? or Bad??...or Kumlanz???

GST increase!!!! From 5% to 7%!!! Why our garhmen like to talk cock? Look at the picture, it shows that our garhmen say that the increase is to help the lower income groups & the elderly?!?!? It is not to increase their burden?????? Mmmm...I wonder... how can GST increase will help them?? Is our $$$ going to the lower income & the elderly groups bank account??? This notice also state that the garhmen cannot use their reserves because it is not sufficient to support the groups. Why is it not enough? We pay our income taxes every year, motorists pay their road taxes, traffic fines, ERPs, parkings, our current GSTs, HDB loans, utilities bills, etc... so much were taken from us! Yes, I know that they need to pay the civil servants...but they should have more than enough! Those working in garhmen sector have pay adjustment & good bonuses, but what about those in private sectors?

If they want to increase the GST, they have to make sure that those working in private sectors also have pay increments & variable bonus as well!!! If not, how to survive in merlion city? They have to set a labour law to implement that!!!!!!!!!!

I know some people like that MP's daughter will say nasty things to us... the private sectors worrying about $$$ everyday...this is our life...we have no choice... what to do?? Suck thumb lor... tew!

Foggy Day in 天津!!!

Wednesday, 13th of December2006, what a foggy day!!! I can hardly see the building infront of me! Visibility is very bad & it was a damn cold day!!! I got to travel to 塘沽 to meet up with customer. Damn sianz... roads were frozen or icy (whatever you call it...I dun care), snow were on the road side...

Once reached my customer site, got to call the customer & let her talk to the guard before the guard allowed me to exchange my I.D for a visitor pass. It was so cold that day!!!


I will always remember this day because I have no lunch & dinner till 10pm... damn cold & hungry! 这是应为customer cock up the production & we, the supplier jialat!!! No food & drinks for the bloody whole day!!!

北京一日游

Wake up at around 6am to meet up with customer for a short trip to 北京. When we reached there, we went to this restaurant. The Peking Duck is really nice!!!

After lunch, we went to 故宫 (Forbidden City) to walk around. Some nice scenery for eye feasting...

Tour Around Tianjin City

On Saturday morning, went touring around Jinnan town center. Saw this 3 wheels vehicle... quite cute, so I took a picture of it. Then did a very kumlanz thing. Tailored a pair of pants at quite a high price thinking it was cheap. But after I talk to my mum, then i found out that I was katoh! Really kumlanz...

After that, I went to Tianjin city. My mum ask me to recce for nail art thingy in TJ. On the way to the wholesaler, saw this Qing Qiao University.

Found the wholesaler & started shopping spree... bought some products back & got some hair thingy as well.

It was a tiring day for me to walk around in a not very familiar place. Atleast I feel safer walking on the street of TJ rather than in Dong Guan.

塘沽 Town

塘沽 is a nice town. This photo is taken while I'm travelling to customer site. Really no time to go sightseeing except while on the way to customer site. The shopping there is also quite expensive, comparable to Singapore Orchard road (while on job, go see see look look...hee...eating snake!!!)

The last 3 photos are taken when I'm travelling back to 津南. It's very foggy that night & the temperature is -2deg C. So Bloody cold!!! But this is still not winter yet to the locals! They told me that during winter, it should be around -15deg C. Crazy man!!! How to stay in this kind of enviroment? I don't think I have enough clothing for such temperature! Even now I'm nearly freezing to death!!!

Tianjin Hostel

Tianjin hostel compare to Dong Guan hostel is like comparing chocolate & shit... How I wished I'm back in Singapore! The SAF beds are more comfy than what I'm sleeping on right now! Roaches crawling around the room & toilet & the weather here is terrible. What to do? Customer is so kumlanz... used the wrong brand of product to mate with my company. Sooooo kumlanz! So they delay the bloody production....shit man...make my stay in Tianjin longer...

I miss my BED!!!!

Flying to Tianjin from Guangzhou Airport= PISS OFF!!!

Leaving Dong Guan early in the morning is making sick...my stomache is getting worse...headache is killing me...It's so cold in the morning, seems like below 10 degrees. When I reach the Guangzhou airport, it's like 6am.

I waited for an hour to get my air ticket. I was damn worried!!! Because I heard that even you have made a booking for the filght, the plane might not take off... After that, went to get my breakfast. Damn hungry! 1 spare ribs noodle cost 48RMB!!! Which is = $10!!! WTF!!!! Then I went into the plane & it took abt 4hrs to get to Tianjin. Ooooo...soooo cold over there!!!
It's about -1degree when I reach there. Got not enough clothing make me feel like I almost freeze to death! So damn cold!

I'm on my way to the company hostel...when I reach there, I almost faint! When Im in Dong Guan, the hostel is like hotel. Now its like backpackers!!! Full of roaches, toilet is outside of the room, the place is so dusty, no TV, phone not working & the most shitty part is that no internet!!! The server is down for 3 days! The MIS can't solve the problem until Monday! That's not all, once I reach there, I try to contact the Taiwanese Engineers that are working there. To my dismay, they are not contactable! They bloody off the mobile phones! The worst part is that I have to call my Dong Guan colleagues to get the contact of the customer & once I put down my luggages, I'm off again to customer site alone! Well, I'm kind of 1st time in Tianjin...but hack...who cares? It's like 叫天不应，叫地不灵. I felt so piss off...

Blogging in China

I'm now in China, Dong Keng Town, Dong Guan City. Its a industrial area. It's about 1hr drive from Shenzhen airport. This place is quite shitty as compare to Singapore. The roads, the food, the people, the place...& especially the toilets!!! They never throw the toilet paper into the toilet bowl, they throw it into the rubbish bin place beside the toilet bowl!!! Can you imagine the smell??? I almost stop breathing when I first entered the factory toilet!!!

The people here really enjoy the spicy food. Last Sunday, my Taiwanese colleague bring me to a restraurent. Every dishes they ordered were spicy!!! Seems like they also got no choice. The menu dishes are all fried with chillies! Got a hard time eating them & afterwards, the toilet...
